It is with great pleasure and pride I announce the evolution of my practice through Ronald S. Ade Law Corporation owned by me, to Ade & Lee Law Group LLP, a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) that includes ownership by my law corporation, and the law corporations owned by my son Kris Ade and our respected colleague Myong Lee, effective April 1, 2023.

Manitoba’s Partnership Act requires we explain to you, as our client, the potential changes in liability that result from our registration as a limited liability partnership. An LLP enables all of our lawyers to offer legal services through the business of a partnership while limiting the liability of each individual partner. This limited liability applied to me, as principal of the Ronald S. Ade Law Corporation, and with our conversion to an LLP is now extended to the principals of all three of the law corporation owners.

While our registration as a limited liability partnership marks a significant new chapter in our firm’s history, our relationship with you is unchanged. We continue to be regulated by and carry the requisite professional liability insurance with The Law Society of Manitoba pursuant to Manitoba’s Legal Profession Act. More importantly, however, we remain committed to providing you with the exemplary legal services you have come to expect from everyone at our firm.

Under this new structure, our team – me included – will continue to provide a full suite of corporate, commercial, real estate, intellectual property, wills and estates, and personal legal services. Together, we offer nearly a century of experience in all aspects of the law and are passionate about providing exceptional, cost effective, and timely service.

In conjunction with this change, we have launched this new website, adeleelaw.ca, to give our clients a more detailed explanation of all the legal services we provide. Much has changed over the years, and I would encourage you to visit our new website to see what’s new!

Owning this law firm has been one of the great pleasures of my career, only to be eclipsed by this new opportunity to work alongside Kris and Myong as partners.
